One way or another I have always loved working in a caring role. One of my first ever jobs was working as a care assistant in a nursing home and this is where my passion for helping people began. For many years I worked with the elderly in different settings as well as visiting them in their own homes, however I also developed a passion for travelling and seeing the world. Of course this comes at a cost, so I decided to change my career so that it would incorporate my love for travel, by becoming Cabin Crew for Virgin Atlantic. I spent the next 10 years working hard and partying even harder in some of the most amazing places in the world and I really do have some stories to tell!!! I feel truly blessed that I had the opportunity to do this, however after having my second daughter, I decided that I needed to put my feet firmly back on the ground and I decided to go back into Healthcare.
I began working in my local Hospital as a Healthcare assistant in the minor injuries unit, before moving into the same role at my local GP surgery. Whilst I enjoyed my job, I didn't LOVE my job. I loved helping people but I didn't wake up feeling passionate and excited about going to work. I decided that life was too short to be anything less than passionate and inspired by my career, so after a lot of soul searching I decided that with my absolute love of anatomy and physiology, and my genuine interest and fascination of Reflexology, This was the path for me. After gaining my level 3 Diploma, I then went onto qualify in Advanced Reflexology, followed by Using Crystals with Reflexology (which I feel adds a little extra touch of magic to my treatments). I decided to qualify in Reiki simply because I feel the 2 treatments work beautifully together and energy work is very much a part of Reflexology.
